Here’s a simple automation that creates Google Drive folders whenever a new matter is opened in Clio:
✅ Automatically creates a folder with case number and client name
✅ Saves the folder link directly on the matter in Clio
✅ Works with Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or any other cloud
✅ Can organize folders by responsible attorney
Here’s how to set it up:
1. Add a custom field in Clio for the folder link
2. Create an automation with 3 steps:
– Trigger: New matter in Clio
– Action: Create folder in Google Drive
– Action: Update matter in Clio with folder link
This saves hours of admin work and keeps everything organized.
